Reef Tours
Diving in the sea is another great attraction in our area, whether at the reef in Playa del Carmen or at the reefs of the famous Cozumel Island; warm, crystal-clear water full of color and life is guaranteed.
We are part of the Mesoamerican Reef, the largest in the Americas and the second largest in the world, spanning 4 countries: Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, and Honduras.
The typical marine life in these waters includes groupers, snappers, parrotfish, angelfish, butterflyfish, jacks, barracudas, moray eels, lobsters, crabs, and nurse sharks; although divers' favorites are the abundant sea turtles in these waters. All our outings consist of 2 dives.
From November to March, incredible female bull sharks (Carcharhinus Leucas) come to give birth. They come very calmly and gather right in front of Playa del Carmen. It's a unique spectacle, whether observed naturally or with feeding; you can't miss it.
During the summer months, we are visited by the world's largest and most docile fish, the whale shark. Between June and August, we likely have the highest concentration of whale sharks in the world. Come swim with this friendly animal in the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. You don't need to be certified in diving; knowing how to swim is sufficient.
